National Convenience Show comes to Birmingham

Next year’s National Convenience Show is to be held at the NEC in Birmingham from 18th to 20th April.

More than 300 suppliers of products, services and brands present their launches, while experts will discuss the hottest industry trends.

The show provides the perfect platform for businesses to review the best fresh produce and products, and see the latest innovations in technology and services, from POS support to cutting-edge payment processes.

Bernard Matthews, the turkey products supplier, and Cheddar cheese brand Pilgrims Choice will join other exhibitors, such as popcorn producer Propercorn, and Ginsters, the Cornish pasty manufacturer. Also present will be Debangstix, the electronic e-cigarette supplier .

The event will also give visitors the opportunity to learn about the latest consumer trends and receive advice from successful retailers and leading entrepreneurs. The Retailer Hub will return in 2016, bringing together leading suppliers, retailers and industry analysts who will share their experience with visitors to help them stay ahead of the game.

Focussing on the future of convenience retailing and the use of digital marketing, among other topics, speakers will cover how to best communicate and engage with customers. Sector experts will also provide advice on how to build a brand, drive footfall, improve category management and increase basket spend.

National Convenience Show 2016 will be co-located with the Farm Shop & Deli Show, giving retailers the chance to explore a range of relevant products and exhibitors to help them find their point of difference.

Both shows will also be co-located with Food & Drink Expo and Foodex, bringing together suppliers from across the whole food and drink industry, from retailers to manufacturers.
