Neil Turton (pictured), former Nisa Chief Executive has been appointed Trading Director for the newly-formed My Local store chain.
Turton had been pencilled-in for a Non-executive Director role, but is taking up the Trading Director position – one he filled for several years at Nisa – following the departure of Richard Collins.
Nisa will be My Local’s major supplier, having signed a five-year deal worth up to £1bn.
Speaking to SLR, My Local Chief Executive Mike Greene said: “The senior management team we’re putting together is fantastic. The passion they have for convenience retail is second to none, and with Neil’s experience at Nisa, I’m delighted to have him on board as Trading Director.”
