Tayto’s pork scratchings brand Mr. Porky has launched new Mr. Porky Puffs (RSP £1.59) – a lighter alternative to traditional pork scratchings.
The launch is targeted at consumers looking for high protein, low carb snacks but are put off by the appearance of scratchings and strips.
Mr. Porky Puffs are the gluten- and allergen-free, with a more crisp-like texture than classic pork scratchings. A 25g pack contains 16g of protein, with only 132 calories and 0.1g carbohydrates.
The Mr. Porky range is available in various formats including SRP and clip-strips.
Tayto advised retailers to merchandise clips near energy or soft drinks as well as the snacks aisle, the lunch-to-go section and next to the BWS aisles.
