With children headed back to school this week, big-hearted Mo Razzaq decided to cheer them up with some snacks.
He gave out free Kids’ Packs to each child who visited the store between 7am and 12pm on Wednesday. The packs featured a bottle of Ice Valley water, a Cadbury Freddo Bar and a pack of Golden Wonder crisps.
The generous gesture earned Mo much praise from the local community and beyond with a Facebook post highlighting the giveaway racking up over 500 likes and being shared more than 350 times.
Yvonne Maclean, who follows the store on Facebook, said: “What a kind, thoughtful thing to do , brightens up our morning reading this,” while Catherine Hunter said: “Such a lovely gesture, always thinking of others, amazing.”
Meanwhile, Marie Adele Cassidy joked: “Well done, very kind. I suggest wine for all the parents!”
