Tic Tac is extending its range with the addition of Tic Tac Mixers, launching this month.
Tic Tac Mixers will be available in two flavours, Cherry Cola and Peach Lemonade. Both variants melt from their sweet fruit layer into a sparkling secondary flavour, i.e. Cherry to Cola and Peach to Lemonade.
Supported by a £1.3m integrated campaign, the launch is aimed at a target audience of 18 year olds upwards, and bids to drive awareness and encourage trial. A combination of TV, social, sampling and in-store media will focus on the uniqueness of the new products.
Levi Boorer, Customer Development Director at Ferrero, explained: “The launch of Tic Tac Mixers is a truly ground-breaking move for the brand and as the UK’s fastest growing sugar confectionery brand, we are constantly looking at new ways to excite young shoppers, who have a love for trying delicious new products that are genuinely different.”
Ferrero’s research indicates that nearly two thirds of existing Tic Tac consumers will buy Mixers in addition to the core range, which Boorer says provides retailers with a powerful incremental sales opportunity.
A range of POS material, including countertop units and free standing display units, is available to support the launch.
Tic Tac Mixers will be available in both 18g and 48g pack formats.
