Motor Fuel Group (MFG), the independent forecourt operator, is to open an ultra-rapid electric vehicle charging hub at Great Western Retail Park, Glasgow.
Great Western Retail Park is located on the A82, one of the main arterial routes into the city centre. The retail park is 270,000sq ft with a tenant line-up that includes B&Q, Sainsbury’s, Currys, and numerous other tenants.
The new EV hub, featuring eight 150kW Ultra-Rapid chargers and an all-weather canopy, will be situated adjacent to Starbucks in the Park’s car park and it is expected to open in the third quarter of this year.
The chargers will offer motorists 100 miles range in approximately 10 minutes, subject to the charging capability of individual car batteries.

We have already invested significantly and ahead of the curve on EV charging across our own forecourt network as part of our dual-fuel strategy to support the UK’s transition to electric motoring.
