After launching last summer, Mentos Fanta has been awarded Product of the Year 2023 in the Sweets – Tube category.
The limited-edition product is one of the bestselling fruit single lines in convenience and on forecourts.
Product of the Year is the UK’s largest consumer survey of NPD; winning products typically see an average sales rise of 10 to 15%. Mentos Fanta emerged victorious following a Kantar survey of 8,000 people.
Manufacturer Perfetti Van Melle will now spend £700,000 promoting the chewy sweet throughout 2023, with a mix of out-of-home, video-on-demand and influencer activities.
