Pladis has unveiled two new mini formats of its bestselling McVitie’s Milk Chocolate Digestives.
McVitie’s Digestives Milk Chocolate Minis is available now in multipacks of five 19g bags with an RSP of £1.25.
It will be joined later this autumn by an 80g sharing pouch version, which will be available in both plain and £1.25 price-marked packs.
The new formats follow the recent launch of McVitie’s White Chocolate Digestives.
McVitie’s Milk Chocolate Digestives is currently worth more than £108m in retail, and growing at more than 23%.
Aslı Özen Turhan, Chief Marketing Officer at pladis UK&I, said the biscuits would open the door to new sales opportunities for retailers.
She added: “Our multipack, which contains five individually wrapped snack packs and just 94 kcals per serving, is ideal for lunchbox moments, whilst our pouches are perfect for on-the-go or sharing with loved ones – at a time when the ‘togetherness’ trend is hotter than ever.”
