McVitie’s has launched a new limited edition range of its Sticky Pudding Cakes for Bonfire Night.
Renamed ‘Bonfire Bakes’, the cakes are due on shelves from 5th September in time for the nation’s firework-filled frolics.
This year’s Bonfire range includes two new flavours featuring Lyle’s Golden Syrup: Sticky Toffee Bonfire Bakes and Sticky Toffee Apple Bonfire Bakes. With an rrp of £1, the range features brand new packaging bursting with firework designs, and Bonfire Night labelling designed for maximum stand out on shelf.
McVitie’s is also giving its number one branded whole cake – McVitie’s Jamaica Ginger Bonfire Pudding Cake – a ‘sparkling’ makeover with revamped packaging, and is forecasting a retail sales value of approximately £1.5m for the Bonfire Bakes range.
