Mars Ice Cream sees strong summer growth

Summer may still have life left in it, and that’s good news for Mars Ice Cream, which has announced 11% growth year-to-date.

Having trebled the size of the team, Mars Ice Cream is now focused on growing their biggest confectionary brands in ice cream. This has seen the Mars & Snickers brands growing by 21% & 24%1 respectively YTD in 2013. Central to this growth has been the launch of Mars & Snickers Minis, which has in the process introduced almost 300,000 incremental buyers to the brands.

We are committed to supporting retailers and growing the category in 2013, and are particularly excited about our ongoing success. As the summer gets underway we are expecting to see even more significant increases in sales.”
