Mars Food is to create 28 new full-time jobs with a £23m investment into its King’s Lynn manufacturing site.
A new production line manufacturing Uncle Ben’s Ready to Heat rice will be completed early in 2017 at the King’s Lynn site, which currently employs nearly 300 people.
The expansion comes on the back of a £6m investment in new state-of-the-art office facilities made in 2015.
Michael Ryan, Regional President, Mars Food, Western Europe & Russia said: “We have been manufacturing from this site for over 50 years and continue our commitment to investing and growing the site which manufactures some of the UK’s favourite family brands – Uncle Ben’s and Dolmio.”
