AG Barr is aiming to accelerate the growth of Rubicon, with a retailer-only promotion to celebrate Mango Month, which takes place in May each year.
Retailers will have the chance to win over 5,000 instant win prizes include holiday vouchers, Rubicon branded iPad Minis and money-off vouchers. Winning codes will be printed in the tray of special cases of one-litre and 288ml cartons and 330ml cans. Retailers should look out for these special packs for their chance to win.
Adrian Troy, AG Barr’s Head of Marketing said: “Rubicon accounts for one third of all exotic flavours sold in the UK and is growing ahead of the soft drinks category at 9%. The brand is attracting more than 7,000 new consumers every day with 15 million consumers now drinking it.”
Mango Month is the celebration of the new season mango crop, and last year it delivered a 50% uplift in Rubicon sales through displays and promotions.
“Mango Month is now firmly established as a key sales driver for Rubicon, reinforcing its appeal to shoppers and highlighting it as a must-stock brand for all retailers nationally,” added Troy.
