Mars Chocolate Drinks & Treats has launched Maltesers Vegan Instant hot drink.
The launch coincides with the start of Veganuary 2023, which is celebrating 10 years and more than two million pledges.
Maltesers Vegan is available initially at Aldi with wider grocery distribution and availability to purchase through wholesale and convenience channels expected later in the year.
It comes in a 250g jar (RSP £2.99) which contains 10 servings. Consumers simply add hot water to enjoy a chocolatey drink taste with a hint of malt.
The value of instant vegan hot chocolate trebled over the last year as more people sought plant-based options as part of a vegan or flexitarian diet.
