Following last year’s launch of Limited Edition Whisky & Haggis and Venison & Cranberry Ridge Cut Crisps, Mackie’s has announced that the two products are to become permanent lines within its Ridge Cut range.
The new flavours were introduced as a means of adding a Scottish twist to Mackie’s Ridge Cut range, which also includes Caramelised Red Onion, Prawn Cocktail, Roast Ham and Sea Salt & Mixed Peppercorn flavours. The Mackie’s core range already included Scottish-themed varieties, such as Haggis & Cracked Black Pepper and Flamegrilled Aberdeen Angus.
George Taylor, Managing Director, Mackie’s said the new flavours proved so popular it didn’t make sense for them only to be limited edition.
He concluded: “Flavour innovation has always been a USP for Mackie’s and it’s great to continue to get such positive feedback on our unique Scottish seasonings.”
