Walkers is launching its biggest-ever on pack lunch promotion, offering one in six shoppers the chance to win a free lunch up to the value of £4. The campaign runs until 11th July.
A partnership with coupon and voucher services provider, Valassis, allows consumers to redeem their free lunch in thousands of participating stores nationwide.
Matt Goddard, Field Sales Director at PepsiCo commented: “At Walkers we’re excited to launch our biggest ever lunch campaign which will help retailers maximise lunchtime sales. We urge retailers who are not yet involved in the campaign to sign up to avoid missing out on this huge opportunity, and will be launching a host of in store materials to support the promotion, including stackers and chiller baskets.”
Promotional packs of Walkers crisps will include a ‘1 in 6 wins a free lunch’ on pack flash and a unique 12 digit code. Consumers need to enter the code on the Walkers website or send a text to find out if they are a winner. The free lunch can be redeemed in a number of ways including coupons, the Walkers website or mobile phone app Shopitize.
The campaign will be heavily supported by TV, digital and strong levels of in store shopper marketing activity.
