Jacobs Douwe Egberts has launched three new ranges under its L’Or coffee brand.
New L’Or Flavours Collection Nespresso Compatible Capsules consists of a range of rich espresso with a hint of natural flavour packed into aluminium capsules and available in three flavours: L’Or Chocolate, L’Or Caramel and L’Or Vanilla. It is available in cases of 10, with an RSP of £3.59 per pack of 10 capsules. L’Or is a member of Podback, a scheme which enables consumers to recycle their used plastic and aluminium coffee pods from home.
The brand has also introduced fully recyclable glass packaging for its instant coffee range and moved away from its legacy ‘lipstick’ pack format. The range includes three variants in two different sizes: L’Or Classique, an aromatic coffee with smooth, round notes; L’Or Intense, a deep roasted flavour with a hint of zest; and L’Or Decafeine, a delicately balanced aromatic flavour. L’Or Recyclable Jar is available in cases of six with RSPs of £5.89 (100g) and £7.29 (150g).
Jacobs Douwe Egberts, which pioneered the use of coffee tins with Kenco Millicano, has extended this further with L’Or Artiste, bringing “a unique and distinctive proposition” to the category with a high-quality instant microground coffee with thick crema. The two variants include Vigoroso, with notes of cooked caramel and cocoa, and Delicato, with a subtle almond and cookie-like aroma. Individual 95g tins of L’Or Artiste RSP at £6.39 and come in cases of six.
Roberto de Felice, Marketing Director at Jacobs Douwe Egberts, commented: “This marks a significant year for L’Or as we continue to create quality product experiences to support our retail partners.
“These new ranges strengthen existing consumption occasions, as well as unlocking new ones to drive category growth.”
