Londis has launched a retailer and consumer campaign ahead of the Rugby World Cup.
The campaign aims to drive sales of beer, wine, soft drinks and sharing snacks around the tournament. Running until November 8th, Londis retailers will be able to run key promotions every three weeks.
A package of retailer offers and tips was issued in July and the consumer campaign “Kick off Autumn with Winning Offers” went live in stores this week.
John Pattison, Londis Brand Director said: “Major sporting events are a great opportunity for convenience retailers to drive additional sales. The Rugby World Cup involves all of the home nations, so stores in every part of the UK can get involved in this event. We’ve launched a dedicated package that includes national door drop leafleting, in-store POS to dress the stores; additional posters for the biggest games and a retailer guide with top tips to maximise sales.”
Londis is also providing margin-enhancing wholesale weekly deals under the Super 6 and Super 15 trade marketing campaigns. This will link to key BWS and snack suppliers to drive footfall and sales.
