Londis has made a number of appointments to its Leadership team. Brand Director John Pattison announced the changes at this year’s Londis Conference.
The appointments are part of Pattison’s ongoing commitment to the turnaround plan of the Londis Brand, as he aims to deliver on the promise he made earlier this year to provide a compelling symbol brand offer, making Londis simpler to do business with and delivering profitable growth for its independent retail partners and the brand.
John Ridgley has been promoted to the Leadership team as Retail Director, and will head up Field Retail Operations, as well as a new team focussed on New Business Development. He was formerly Forecourt Development Director.
Paul Adams continues as Head of Central Operations, the role now being promoted to part of the Leadership team.
The newly-created role of Head of Loyalty is filled by John Taylor, formerly Head of Trading. Taylor’s remit will be to work with key stakeholder groups to improve retail partner purchasing loyalty within the brand.
These appointments are effective 1st May.
Des Dunbar joins the team from Tesco, replacing Taylor as Head of Trading, and will be in post from 1st June.
John Pattison, Londis Brand Director, was pleased to announce the strengthening of the Leadership team. He said: “Each member of the team brings with them a wealth of experience, internally from the brand and externally. With their knowledge of the marketplace, I truly believe that this is the team that will take Londis into a bold and exciting future. Collectively, they embody the spirit of Londis and we are all committed to making the brand simpler to do business with, supporting our independent retail partners to grow locally.”
The remainder of the team consists of Simon Palmer, Head of Change; Caroline Forty, Head of HR; Michael Hayes, Head of Marketing and Ben Ramsey, Head of Finance.
