The Loco symbol group, which was launched by Nisa last year, has passed the 50 store milestone.
Following the first conversion to the Loco fascia last year the symbol group has continued to work closely with independent retailers to enable them to transform their store to the Loco model, helping them to develop their offer as well as driving sales instore. The group has grown and added value since it was first established to ensure it provides smaller independent retailers with the tools they need to compete in the retail market place, most recently with the introduction of market research to ensure each store has the appropriate range of impulse, grocery and licensed products for the target market.
Raj Krishan, Retail Development Director, commented: “We are pleased with the current progress of the Loco symbol group and have ensured that all stores are of high quality and reflect the Loco branding throughout. We have a constant stream of retailers who are keen to become members of this prospering new symbol group and we will work closely with each of them to ensure the transition is smooth and as stress free as possible. We have created a good solid platform and we will accelerate this growth in the coming year.”
