A new website and app have launched to make it easier for convenience stores to offer a decent range of craft beer.
Described as “the UK’s first craft beer ordering and education platform,” Lion Little World has been created “to allow customers to buy, sell and take advantage of educational content to demystify the sometimes mind-boggling world of craft”.
The platform is designed to give customers a simple seamless end-to-end experience. As well as a user-friendly ordering interface, it also offers educational content on the craft industry and training modules. The platform’s AI gives insights to customers, with recommendations of products that will be a good fit for their store to help boost their profit margin.
The new app and website initially offer Lion Little World’s portfolio of over 30 craft beers from Fourpure, Magic Rock, Little Creatures and New Belgium Brewing. The company – an offshoot of Lion Australia – is also actively looking to grow the range available and is seeking partners to help expand and offer customers the options of also restocking spirits, mixers and other beers.
