Kraft Heinz has introduced a range of ready to use Heinz Pasta Sauces, available now in cases of six with an RSP of £2.50 per jar.
The seven-strong range includes Tomato, Mascarpone & Grana Padano Cheese; Chunky Tomato & Mediterranean Veggies; Tomato Sauce for Bolognese; Tomato & Chilli; Sundried Cherry Tomato & Basil; Tomato & Lentil Ragu; and Tomato, Mushroom & Pepper.
The launch is supported with a marketing campaign across TV, digital and out-of-home with the tagline “Ridiculously Late, Ridiculously Good.” In-store activity will highlight a consumer competition.
Made in Italy using 100% natural ingredients and no added sugar, the range delivers one of your five a day. Ingredients are printed on the front of the bottle and coloured printed caps have been used to help consumers clearly identify the differences between each flavour.
The range is ideal for vegetarian diets and most variants are vegan-friendly.
Georgiana de Noronha, President Northern Europe at Kraft Heinz, commented: “We thought it was the right time to launch Heinz Pasta Sauces, with cooking and pasta sauces receiving a boost in sales in 2020 thanks to consumers experimenting more with meals at home. The category is estimated to see 19.2% rise in value sales growing to £962m.”
Caio Fontenele, New Ventures Director at Kraft Heinz, added: “The new Heinz pasta sauces use only the best natural ingredients that consumers can identify and find in their kitchens. That’s why we decided to move the list of ingredients from the back to the front of pack. This will help consumers to make better choices and be more conscious of what they eat.”
