KP Snacks is turning up the heat with McCoy’s Hot ‘n’ Spicy Grab Bag.
Following hot on the heels of the £1.25 PMP format, which debuted earlier this year, the new launch further capitalises on the strength of “spicy”, which is currently the third largest flavour partition within the Crisps, Snacks and Nuts (CSN) category.
The 45g Grab Bag (RSP £1.15) taps into the growing Food to Go occasion with consumers increasingly opting for convenient and affordable lunches.
John McDougall, Brand Manager at McCoy’s, KP Snacks, says: “Retailer taste tests have already yielded amazing results, with 100% of C&I retailers surveyed saying they “love” the flavour of McCoy’s Hot ‘n’ Spicy and would stock it – a testament to its excellent credentials.”
The McCoy’s brand is worth £190m and growing at 5% ahead of the overall CSN category[1]. The brand was recently named as the NFL’s Savoury Snacks Partner across the UK and Ireland in a three-year deal running until March 2027.
