Kikkoman launches latest limited edition

Kikkoman soy sauce

Soy sauce brand Kikkoman has unveiled a new limited edition of its 150ml dispenser bottle.

Around 400,000 bottles featuring the new design are rolling out from this month.

The fifth edition in the series, the design incorporates symbols of sustainability and harmony from Japanese mythology. The plum blossom represents good fortune while the ‘mejiro’ bird is important in pollinating plum trees in Japan.

For the first time, the soy sauce is made with ingredients sourced entirely from the EU.

Bing-yu Lee, General Manager for Kikkoman UK, commented: “Scenes around harmony with our environment is symbolic of how Kikkoman works hand-in-hand with other countries to produce our sustainably made and naturally brewed soy sauce.

“If the feedback from our past limited editions is anything to go by this new one will fly off the shelves.”
