JTI is extending its e-cigarette range with the introduction of Logic LQD – a new open tank device and range of e-liquids.
Joining Logic PRO and Logic Curv, the new launch enters the popular open tank market to further enhance the JTI e-cigarette portfolio. Logic LQD e-liquids are being rolled out to independents from this month (December 2016).
Features of Logic LQD include an advanced refilling system that JTI says guarantees easy and precise e-liquid delivery. A dual coil and variable voltage control also offer an enhanced and customisable vaping experience for users.
Logic LQD’s UK-produced e-liquids feature a three-step child-resistant bottle mechanism with a precision nozzle to prevent spillage. They are available in six flavours – Tobacco, Menthol, Cherry, Vanilla, Berry Mint and Strawberry – and a variety of strengths, with an RSP of £5 per 10ml bottle. Following the launch of the e-liquids, the Logic LQD device (RSP £20 including USB charger) and the atomiser – a required accessory for open tank devices that will typically need replacing every 2-4 weeks (RSP £9 for a pack of three) – will become available.
Charis Chrysochoidis, emerging products lead at JTI, commented: “With open tanks leading the e-cigarette category as the fastest growing segment, the launch of the Logic LQD is perfectly timed to offer a significant profit driving opportunity for retailers.
“We now offer a range of e-cigarettes, rechargeables, closed tanks and open tanks united under one Logic brand. With almost two million vapers in the UK and e-cigarette sales predicted to continue growing into 2017, retailers should stock up on the full range to maximise e-cigarette sales.”
As part of JTI’s brand consolidation, E-Lites Curv will be changing its name to Logic Curv and newly-branded products will begin to appear in store and wholesale over the next few months. There will be a transition period for stock, and JTI advises retailers to exercise a good stock rotation system to ensure they sell through existing products first.
