CJ Lang has made a pair of new appointments, with current Company Stores Director Jamie Buchanan (pictured above) moving to the new position of Format and Merchandising Director.
The role will cover both company and independent Spar stores. A spokesperson for CJ Lang said Buchanan’s “focus on merchandising direction together with format development will make a significant impact on overall business profitability”.
Also, Brian Straiton (pictured below) will join the company in the very near future. Previously Operations Director for Botterills Convenience Stores and currently Regional Business Manager for Scotmid Central Scotland, he will concentrate on operating efficiency and consistency of store processes and standards in order to deliver optimum sales and profitability.
