Pladis has launched a non-HFSS Chilli Beef flavour to widen the appeal of its £12.9m Jacob’s Crinklys brand.
Jacob’s Crinklys Chilli Beef will be widely available in multipacks of 6 x 23g bags (RSP £1.75) from 17 June after launching exclusively in Asda on 13 May. A channel-exclusive 90g PMP format (£1.25) is available to wholesalers and independent retailers from 20 May.
The launch taps into the appeal of spicy and meaty flavours – a segment which is far-outpacing total category growth, up 26.8%.
