The iweekend cover price rises by 20p to £1.20 this weekend (14 September), accompanied by pro rata terms for retailers.
The margin remains at 21.5% – the second highest in the marketplace – and means stockists will receive 25.8p for every copy sold.
NFRN National President Stuart Reddish thanked publisher JPI Media for the move and urged members to give iweekend their full support, reminding them the Saturday-published title should remain on sale during Sunday.
He said: “Independent retailers are facing ever increasing operating costs so pro rata margin increases are critical whenever cover price rises occur if NFRN members are to remain viable.”
