In its ongoing efforts to help the trade navigate the potential EUTPD2 and Standardised Packaging legislation, Imperial Tobacco has begun distributing START packs to retailers.
START stands for: Support, Training, Availability, Range and Trust.
The packs, part of the ‘Partnering for Success’ initiative, were created following feedback from the trade at various engagement events, as well as building on Imperial Tobacco’s experiences with Standardised Packaging in Australia. They have been designed to keep retailers updated with the latest legislative and tobacco category information, and will continue to be updated over the next 18 months to ensure retailers have all the latest legislative information and category advice at their fingertips.
Sophie Hogg, Head of Sales & Marketing Operations at Imperial Tobacco, commented: “The START packs have been designed in conjunction with retailers, updating them with the latest legislative information while proving them with practical advice around issues we know they are concerned about.
“Imperial Tobacco is committed to providing retailers with the relevant tools to support and enhance their businesses through the continuing evolution of the tobacco category. Our START packs are a crucial component of this, and part of our continuing commitment to provide expertise, support and reassurance to the trade around both EUTPD2 and Standardised Packaging.”
START packs are being distributed to retailers by their designated sales representative. Digital versions can also be downloaded via Imperial Tobacco’s trade website.
