Scandinavian Tobacco Group has unveiled new limited-edition packs for its Henri Wintermans Half Corona brand for the run-up to Christmas.
The new packs come in two different Argyle patterns, reminiscent of Pringle sweaters, which should offer a certain degree of on-shelf standout.
The Henri Wintermans Half Corona is the UK’s bestselling medium-large cigar and the fifth bestselling cigar overall in value terms. Its sales traditionally increase in the run-up to Christmas.
STG’s UK Marketing Manage Nataly Scarpetta commented: “We’re delighted to announce the arrival of our Henri Wintermans limited-edition packs, which will bring a bit of excitement to the category and a good talking point for retailers with their regular tobacco customers.
“It’s well known that sales of cigars, and larger cigars in particular, go up in the run up to Christmas so these smart new packs should prove especially appealing to adult smokers and we’d strongly recommend retailers stock up to make the most of those additional sales and attractive margins.”
