In response to consumer feedback, Kraft Heinz is adding two new varieties to its Flavoured Beanz range, which is now worth £9m.
Peri Peri Beanz and Smokey Bacon Beanz will join existing flavours BBQ, Curry and Fiery Chilli on shelves from 24th April.
The new packs bring a new flash of colour to the traditional turquoise of Heinz Beanz, and highlight the flavour notes through on-pack graphics. The Peri Peri pack is yellow and features chilli, garlic and lemon as the traditional ingredients of this popular seasoning. The product also contains peri peri chilli flakes for added bite. Smokey Bacon shows graphics of bacon rashers on a pink background, to highlight the fact it contains real bacon pieces, included as a result of consumer testing.
Umme Ali, Assistant Brand Manager, Heinz Beanz, commented: “The existing Heinz Beanz Flavours range is a popular choice with consumers, especially young professionals, students and busy families. Through extensive consumer research we believe these new flavours will help to bring excitement to the ambient fixture, driving incremental sales to further strengthen the brand and establish the category.”
The launch will be supported in-store and through digital media activity.
