Ice cream brand Häagen-Dazs has launched two new snacking products, Salted Caramel Bites and Chocolate Bites.
Salted Caramel Bites feature salted caramel ice cream with a caramel sauce core and wrapped in a golden caramel white chocolate coating.
For chocolate fans, the Chocolate Bites offer something similar, except with chocolate ice cream, a chocolate sauce core and a rich, crunchy ‘couverture’ chocolate coating.
Both come in boxes of eight.
The new format caters to growing demand within the snacking segment for bite-size ice cream products, with the category seeing +69% sales growth over the past two years.
Nicole Whelan, Head of Häagen-Dazs UK, said: “We’re thrilled to launch a totally new format… a new bite-sized moment of pleasure that can be enjoyed at any time of the day, week, or year. We’re confident they will fly off the freezer shelves!”
New Häagen-Dazs Bites are available now in grocery, with plans to launch into wholesalers later this year.
