Graffigna, the Argentine wine brand, has launched its latest creation: Graffigna Centenario Elevation Red Blend – a wine created from premium grapes from some of the highest peaks in Argentina.
Centenario Elevation Red Blend combines five grapes to produce a complex and deep wine. The elegance of Malbec is blended with the ripe red and blackberry flavors of Bonarda, the spicy notes of Syrah, the intensity of Cabernet Sauvignon and the structure of Tannat.
In 1870, founder Santiago Graffigna planted vines in the shadow of the Andes, with an understanding that altitude would enhance the quality of local red varietals.
Alejandra Presa, Graffigna Marketing Director, said: “Graffigna is proud to be leading the way in modern Argentine winemaking. This new premium red wine is both a tribute to our pioneering founder, and a showcase of the elevated quality that can be achieved at altitude.”
Deep purple in color with prominent red hues, Centenario Elevation Red Blend is a full-bodied wine with rich blackberry flavors underpinned by spice, vanilla and dark chocolate notes. It pairs perfectly with grilled red meat, game and stews.
