Coca-Cola European Partners has added a lightly sparkling variant to its glacéau smartwater range.
The new product is available in a 600ml PET bottle format and a 6x600ml multipack.
New packaging features light blue details to differentiate it from the original variant.
To support the launch, new point of sale material is available to retailers. This forms part of the brand’s £10m two-year communications plan that began in spring 2016, with an outdoor advertising campaign now set to highlight both the still and sparkling variants.
CCEP is looking to build on the growth enjoyed by glacéau in Britain, which has seen it become the fastest-growing water brand with 80.6% year-on-year growth, and a value of £31.1m.
