Ginsters has launched its 2016 festive range, which includes two festive limited edition sandwiches and a festive limited edition pasty.
Two of Ginsters’ most successful limited edition sandwiches feature in the line-up. Firstly, the Festive Edition Christmas Cracker, which is a mix of turkey breast, sausage, stuffing and bacon with cranberry chutney and retails at £3.49. Next up is the Festive Edition Cranberry, Wensleydale and Bacon sandwich, which is a combination of crumbled Wensleydale cheese, cranberry, seasoned mayonnaise and sweetcure smoke-flavoured bacon on malted grain bread, retailing at £2.99. Both sandwiches have been given fresh new packaging using a wintry Cornish landscape scene to reflect the recent Ginsters sandwich relaunch.
The Ginsters Festive Edition Turkey & Bacon Pasty is also back. It too features new packaging, and apparently resembles a Christmas gift. Judge for yourself. The pasty contains 100% British turkey and maple-smoked cured bacon with cranberries, potato and onion in a creamy sauce made with Westcountry double cream, wrapped in light puff pastry. It retails at £1.99.
Jo Hartop, head of communications at Ginsters said: ‘’Our consumers tell us they look forward to the launch of our festive line up every year. The festive Limited Editions are our most successful, delivering a high rate of sale so retailers should take advantage by stocking the products to boost their winter sales.’’
Ginsters will once again be raising funds for the Royal Voluntary Service from the sale of the festive limited editions. A 10p donation will be made for every festive product sold. This will go towards helping the Royal Voluntary Service in its on-going support for lonely and isolated older people.
The festive range, which is supported by dedicated POS material, is available now.
