Geek Bar has launched the J1 Pod, a disposable pod refill system with a rechargeable battery that has been developed with the UK market in mind.
It has a recommended selling price of £8.
The device features a KA mesh coil, which Geek Bar says “provides more vapour and a more consistent, mellower flavour”. The 500mAh battery can be recharged via USB.
Twin-packs of 2ml pod refills have a £5 RSP and are available in 11 different flavours: Ginger Soda, Tropical Skittles Blast, Orange Vanilla, Tropical Fruit, Lime Cherry, Mango Smoothie, Watermelon Ice, Pink Lemonade, Kiwi Passion Fruit Guava, Cheesy Blueberry Jelly, and Lime Cactus.
The J1 comes in the Geek Bar’s newly designed packaging, which features a more visible age restriction warning against sale to minors.
To combat counterfeiting, the redesign also carries a prominent security code which retailers and consumers can use to check the authenticity of the product.
