Today (Friday April 21) is National Tea Day and, to celebrate this momentous occasion, Mars Chocolate has launched Galaxy Swirlers.
Galaxy Swirlers is Mar’s latest foray into the large block format, and consists of easily-breakable chocolate fingers which can be dipped into a hot drink. It is available in two flavours – Caramel Crunch and Shortbread Crunch.
“We are continuously looking to identify new flavours, formats and trends that complement our Galaxy chocolate perfectly, and Galaxy Swirlers is the next step in our journey, following the success of Galaxy Crispy and Galaxy Salted Caramel,” said Bep Dhaliwal, Trade Communications Manager, Mars Chocolate UK.
“Galaxy Swirlers appeals to consumers who love to share with family and friends and enjoy chocolate with a hot drink, and is set to drive a new wave of shoppers to the category.”
The launch will be specifically supported by POS, as well as Galaxy’s brand-wide £13m advertising spend for 2017.
Galaxy Swirlers is available from May in outers of 19 bars, with an RSP of £2.09.
