Fresh to Store, the new owner of Kerryfresh, has launched its first comprehensive range of regional food, with 40 offerings from Scottish producers joining the chilled delivery service’s portfolio north of the border.
Available to order now for direct delivery from Fresh to Store’s dedicated Scottish van fleet, the new range of family favourites includes a host of top-selling lines from seasonal Scottish produce specialist Scotty Brand, as well as a range of popular ready meals and pies from McIntosh of Strathmore.
Top quality meats from Glasgow-based Calder Millerfield, regional cheese from Rowan Glen, traditional bakery products from Scottish Baker of the Year McGhee’s, pies and pastries from Pars Foods, and cakes from Motherwell’s Kerrs Bakery complete the line-up.
“Our Scottish retailers told us their customers would like to see more regional foods in their stores, and we have responded by launching our first ever dedicated range of chilled offerings from Scotland,” explains Sue Cronin-Jones, Trading Director at Fresh to Store.
“It is also a great way for us to give leading Scottish chilled food producers an unrivalled route to the chilled convenience market in Scotland, at the same time as offering our retailers a range of fantastic foods that we know their customers will love and return to again and again.”
Leading the way in Scotty Brand’s Kerryfresh range will be top quality seasonal produce including potatoes, strawberries, raspberries, Iceberg lettuce, coleslaws, potato salad, beetroot salad, two bacon products and three of its best-selling fresh soup varieties – Lentil, Chicken & Rice, and Scotch Broth – while ready meal offerings from McIntosh centre on Scottish traditional favourites including Haggis, Neeps & Tatties and Scottish Stovies, as well as Cottage Pie and Macaroni Cheese.
Retailers can order from the full Scottish range either by phone, online or via Fresh to Store’s new GoKart app. All orders placed will be dispatched with the retailer’s next day delivery.
