Cadbury’s Freddo brand has made the leap into the Cadbury Drinking Chocolate range.
Available to order now, Cadbury has introduced the new product with the aim of bringing new consumers to the hot beverages category.
Freddo Drinking Chocolate was tested with a Mumsnet consumer panel and nearly 80% said they would purchase it for their families and would recommend it to a friend.
Raquel Alcobia, Brand Manager for Refreshment Beverages at Mondelēz International, said: “Cadbury Freddo Drinking Chocolate offers the great milk chocolatey taste that consumer expects from Cadbury and is suitable for use as a hot or cold beverage so it is ideal for families. We believe this launch can help unlock incremental sales in the drinking chocolate category.
“Retailers should use our POS to make the most of the opportunity and drive trial purchase in store.”
