Drygate Brewery is raising a glass of craft beer in success, after collecting four awards at the SIBA (Society of Independent Brewers) Scotland Beer Festival held in Glasgow this month.
The brewer’s Seven Peaks Mosaic IPA won gold in the category of Strong Bitters/Pale Ales on cask before going onto claim silver in the overall Champion Beer of Scotland competition.
In the bottled category, Drygate’s core range also picked up accolades including gold for Bearface Lager in the Lager/Pilsner category, while Ax Man Rye IPA took silver in the Strong Bitters/Pale Ale category.
Drygate’s Operations Director, Matt Corden, is delighted with this success for the team at Drygate.
He commented: “Having launched our brewery just 18 months ago, this is the first time we’ve entered our brews for consideration in the SIBA awards. This is a superb collection of awards for our fledgling craft brewery and will further help put Drygate’s fearless beers on the map.”
