The Federation of Independent Retailers (the Fed) has announced interim changes to its operational structure, following the departure of its Chief Operating Officer Graham Stafford in August.
As a result of the changes, Adrian Page, Brian Murphy and Phil Jaggard are seconded to three new director roles and will work with the Fed’s national senior officials to deliver the organisation’s objectives.
Under the move:
- Page becomes Business and Engagement Director, with responsibility for the business development, communications, marketing and political engagement departments.
- Murphy becomes News and Operations Director, with responsibility for news operations and technology departments, the contact centre, the CRM and external consultants and services.
- Jaggard becomes Member and Development Director, with responsibility for field operations, membership services and events.
The changes were discussed and agreed at the November meeting of the Fed’s Executive Council.
National President Muntazir Dipoti said: “It is important that the Fed evolves so it remains relevant and can fully represent independent retailers in these challenging times. I look forward to working with Aidi, Brian and Phil to grow as a business and continue to help members make money, save money and make business easier.”
