There are now over 100 live sites using Nisa’s Evolution system, with the 100th install taking place at the award-winning Nisa Milestone, Newry.
The site is the biggest install to date, with 10 Evolution tills now in place, serving a high volume of customers with an average basket spend of £11.07. A team of Nisa staff from head office and Northern Ireland came together for the installation, helping the store get to grips with the new system, converting the tills and training the staff.
Tom McAvoy, store owner, commented: “The install of the new Evolution system went very smoothly and we were incredibly impressed with the service and support we received from the Nisa team. The new system will change the way in which we run the store, allowing us to use all of the functionalities to ensure the store is efficient and has good control of its stock levels.”
Pete Walker, Head of epositive, commented: “Getting Evolution up and running in a very large and very busy store like this is a great achievement and shows that we can triumph against all challenges. Evolution is designed to work just as well in a big supermarket as a small convenience store. Our next goal is to add forecourts and multisites so that all Nisa members can take advantage of the new system.”
The 100th install carries with it another significant milestone as Evolution has now served over 10 million customers and processed almost £70m worth of sales.
Walker added: “We are extremely pleased to have passed this significant milestone with Evolution as a great deal of work has gone into creating a system which works hard for our members, providing them with an EPoS solution which allows them full visibility into their business. The numbers demonstrate that we are a serious contender in our sector.”
