Encona is turning up the heat on the seasonings fixture with a major brand extension of dried seasoning with fiery-flavours to complement the Encona chilli Sauces range. The firms says that the NPD will broaden the use and appeal of the Encona brand by targeting scratch cooks looking to season home-made dishes with tongue-tingling flavours. The dried seasoning range comprises of three distinctive variants – Hot Pepper, Jamaican Jerk and Chilli and Garlic – each adding the unique ‘Encona Kick’ to everyday meals. Lisa Leung, Brand Manager for Encona says: “Encona is famous for its distinctive, fiery flavours and the seasonings are no exception. Much research has gone into the development of the spices to ensure the distinctive taste that consumers love is captured in each blend. Consumer trends show that there is growing demand for hotter flavours and scratch cooking is on the increase. The new Encona Seasonings will enable people to season their favourite dishes with hot and spicy flavours at a different point in the cooking process to our sauces. The range comprises: Hot Pepper Seasoning , Jamaican Jerk Seasoning and Chilli and Garlic Seasoning. All come in outers of six with an rrp of £2.49.
