Co-op is seeking planning permission to put a reverse vending machine at its store in East Linton.

The reverse vending machine, which can be used to return plastic bottles and drinks cans, would be placed place at the rear of the store at 53 High Street.

East Lothian Council’s planning department hopes to make a decision on the plans by the middle of next month.

The proposals can be viewed on the council’s website.
