Scotsman Group, owners of One-O-One Convenience, has secured planning permission for signage for a store in Dreghorn, North Ayrshire.

The Main Street store, formerly Pete’s KeyStore, changed hands in February after 38 years.

The planning approval means the store can have a sign that displays the One-O-One name, while the shop front will also change to blue, in keeping with the brand colour.

In addition, the planning permission means the retailer can slightly move the ATM attached to the store.

Internally, and operationally, the planning application does not state any further changes.

At the time of the deal, One O One Area Manager Gavin Brown, said: “We will strive to continue this good work, protecting the essential services the community relies on such as post office, bill payment and lottery services, as well as looking to provide all your favourite products at great value, all day every day.

“We hope that the local community will continue to shop local, and we look forward to bringing some exiting new initiatives such as home delivery in the near future.”

The application was approved with no attached conditions.
