Funkin Cocktails has given its higher-ABV Double Shot range a bold new look to tap into growing demand for more premium RTD cocktails.
A refined colour palette, embossing, debossing and foiling are designed to suggest a premium gender-neutral offering. New-look cans also give prominence to the bar-strength 14% ABV.
Shelf-ready packaging has also been adjusted, with a lowered front lip that ensures the product name, ABV and flavour are all clearly visible in stores.
The refreshed design further distinguishes the Double Shot range from the brand’s Nitro cocktails.
The new cans come with RTD cocktail consumption at an all-time high, worth £129m and up 20.3% year on year.
“This packaging refresh is not just about aesthetics, it’s about aligning our product with the evolving expectations of today’s consumers,” said Ben Anderson, Funkin’s Marketing Director.
“We know that shoppers are increasingly looking for bar-quality experiences at home, and the enhanced visibility of key product details like the 14% ABV ensures this is clear at first glance, so they know to expect an elevated cocktail experience.”
Funkin’s Double Shot range includes Passion Fruit Margarita and Pineapple Daiquiri, both of which are available in 140ml cans with an RSP of £3.50.
