Inspired by one of the nation’s favourite takeaways, Doritos has launched a new Loaded Pepperoni Pizza flavour, which contains more corn than the standard 180g UK range.
It is available now in cases of 15 x 70g price-marked packs with an RSP of £1.25.
The launch will be supported by a large-scale media campaign this month.
Aimed at the sharing market – which is worth £2.5bn – the new product targets the Gen-Z cohort, which makes up 67% of sharing moments.
Alex Nicholas, Doritos Marketing Manager, said Doritos Loaded Pepperoni Pizza tapped into a very clear need from Gen-Z for new and exciting flavours that they can enjoy during sharing occasions.
Nicholas added: “The SKU will be non-HFSS, offering consumers and retailers a bold, new product that is a healthier alternative without compromising on taste.”
