Spar Brand has unveiled three new on-trend dessert lines in a move to drive growth in the continental desserts sector.
Spar Brand twin-pack Profiteroles, Panna Cotta and Limoncello are available to Spar retailers now, with an RSP of £1.65 and a promotional price of two for £3.
The new lines will sit alongside Spar’s existing Tiramisu.
Spar Brand will also relaunch two of its other dessert lines in time for Christmas, twin-packs of Apple Crumble and Syrup Sponge, with an improved recipe and introductory RSP of £1.50.
Joanne Cramer, Spar UK Senior Brand Manager, commented: “While the desserts category is still an important one to convenience stores, we know that shoppers are increasingly seeing desserts as an occasional treat, rather than a regular one.
“That means both continental and seasonal products are driving sales in the category – a trend that we are tapping with our new and relaunched desserts.”
