Denney-Finch leaves IGD

Joanne Denney-Finch

IGD Chief Executive Joanne Denney-Finch will part company from the grocery industry research and training charity in September.

Commenting on her decision to leave, Joanne Denney-Finch said: “Last year was a landmark year for me, marking 20 years in my tenure as Chief Executive at IGD. During that time, we have built a strong team, whose contribution to our industry has never been greater.

“It has, however, been my ambition for some time to explore a number of different opportunities in both my professional and personal life in the future and these require more time than I presently have working full time. As a result, I have taken the decision to trigger my notice period.”

The IGD Trustees are currently seeking Denny-Finch’s replacement.
