Bakery specialist Delice de France has unveiled plans for three new retail concepts exclusively for the convenience channel, with the intention of cashing-in on emerging trends in the UK’s food and drink to go market.
Launching from spring 2020, the new ranges are:
- Delice To Go – a dedicated food-to-go solution for consumers on the move, with a focus on healthier options including vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free products. It will offer a mid-market price point for consumers, with strong retailer margins. It can be paired with a premium coffee offering to maximise returns.
- Petit Delice – an in-store bakery solution comprising classic bakery items focusing on speciality breads, viennoiserie and sweet bakery treats. It too can be paired with coffee.
- Delice Direct – a frozen bakery solution for retailers without ovens that offers a range of premium bake-at-home products including speciality breads, viennoiserie, pastries and cookies.
The launch will be supported with tailored point-of-sale material and field-based sales support.
