Skittles’ nationwide series of Colour Run events has jogged over the finishing line, at which over 60,000 consumers received a sample pack of the sweets.
One of the six 5k fun-runs was held in Glasgow. Arfan Ellahi, who owns the city’s Cathkin Newsagents, said: “The Colour Run has presented retailers like myself with a fantastic platform to get involved and drive sales of Skittles. The event has helped heighten consumers’ awareness of the brand and provided us with the chance to boost sales in-store. Having The Colour Run on my doorstep meant I was able to get involved with the event and use branded POS material to encourage passing trade in-store.”
